Yesterday I had some really great news, then I had some really bad news. Unfortunately for me I let the bad news overshadow the good news. I kept trying to remember the good news and be happy- and I was so happy for that good news, but I still felt upset.
So- determined to shake it off I am now counting my blessings. This is a good practice since Thanksgiving is coming up next week, and I always try to focus on what I am thankful for on that holiday. Lately when I feel I need to "count my blessings" I look through the pictures and videos on my iphone. It helps me remember all I have, and then I feel better.
I should not be sad because I have nieces and nephews that MAKE ME LAUGH.
Those videos alone helped lift my mood, but as I looked through more pictures and videos I realized there has been much this year to be thankful for. I am going to focus on all of that going into next week. We're going to have an amazing Thanksgiving.
