I was thinking about it the other afternoon, and all of a sudden a great idea popped into my head. So I quickly texted my friend KR to see if she was into it, and we made a time to get it done.
See, KR and I go way back....all the way to the womb! No joke! Our Mom's were in the same pre-natal aerobics class together (hello eighties babies)!
KR got engaged this past October and I was SUPER EXCITED and HAPPY for her to say the least. Since we live on opposite sides of the country it was a little hard to celebrate together.
When BE moved across the country we knew this was bound to happen- so we have to get creative and use technology to our advantage in order to stay connected to those we love who are far away.
Right around the time KR got engaged was when SW's mag vol. 3 came out, so I immediately mailed her a copy full of post it notes from me with my thoughts.
I've been really grateful for video chat, and how it allows me to keep in touch. I get to talk to KR somewhat face to face and hear all about the wedding plans and keep involved, even though I'm far away.
So, with that in mind this was the photo I sent into Southern Weddings.
Here are some others that didn't make the cut. I hope I made the right choice- I did have a hard time deciding.
