Over the past few months B has been making a lot of new wardrobe purchases. B, was actually quite a good dresser for a long time. Then he started working on film sets, and dressing like he worked on film sets. If you don't know what that means, think work pants, scrubby tees, etc. Then one day this summer he decided he had to go back to his well dressed ways, and start "looking the part."
He had a small shopping spree in the summer for some new basics: shirts, ties, coat, pants, etc. The missing ingredient was the shoes, and let's face it shoes are WAY crucial. So for Christmas he asked for shoes, and he got em! Ladies and gentleman....I am now jelous of my husbands shoes.
Pictured above from left to right are Aldo girt in black, Clarks jute embossed leather dessert boot, and Clarks newton force in black leather. Also, not pictured, are the always classic all black converse chuck taylors.
The four pairs of shoes are perfect. He's got a good choice for almost any situation or outfit. It makes my 20+ pairs of shoes cringe in shame. I've got way more pairs of shoes and I still sometimes struggle to find a pair that works with every outfit. It makes me want to throw out all my shoes and start over.
How come my husband is developing a better wardrobe then me!? I need to remedy this, and fast. Really, I love that he is dressing so well, but still...I want new shoes too!
Until then.
I love you.
Hahahah! Love it. Bill's loafer-type shoes were so pathetic that the soles flapped open and he used tape and cardboard to hold them together. This was due less to his work environment and more to his stubbornness (didn't want to spend the money). I finally bought him a new pair of loafers and he also got himself a real pair of workboots. It was a pretty big night for him...
