flashback friday: coworkers

Is it Friday again, already?  Time moves too quickly.

This week BE got to "work together."  Sort of.  We were both working on the set of SPIN, for one day this past week. B was operating the camera while on the technocrane.  I shot stills.  I like when we get to work on the same sets.  I am still not sure if I like working together in general.  Mostly because of exchanges something like this:

E: Well you can always come shoot weddings with me.
B: No, I wouldn't want to steal your thing.
E: You wouldn't.
B: Yeah.  I would be better then you.
E: Challenge accepted.
B: No. I don't want to upset you.

I'm competitive. B could climb Mt. Everest.

This flashback Friday photo was taken by B's sister M in November 2005 on the set of B's short film, "A Bump in the Night."  B was director, cinematographer, and production designer, and all those little roles you assume when you're making a student film.  I was the Assistant Director, and helped him Produce it.  It was quite a set, and quite the film.  I think perhaps you can still hear them whispering about it in the hallways of the university film dept.  It was one of the first times we truly worked together.  I'm still mad he stole my major, and then was more successful at it then I was.  When he wins an oscar, I'll take the credit.  I like this picture because we look really happy working together.

For the record, B and E hate when they shorten our first names in credits.

Who do you enjoy working with?  Do you work with your spouse?

Until Then.

I love you.
