I've still got B's graduation on the brain. It's still a few months away, and there is a lot to happen in the mean time, but it's just always on my mind. I'm just really looking forward to that week, and month for a lot of reasons.
1. The weekend prior to B's graduation I am photographing a wedding that I'm really looking forward to shooting!
2. Family will be in town to celebrate with us.
3. I foresee lots of parties, and celebratory time ahead for that week.
4. B will be GRADUATING, duh!
5. Just a couple weeks later I'll be going to celebrate my BFF, KR getting MARRIED.
6. And, later that month I have a BIRTHDAY!
Plain and Simple, it will be a month full of good times, and I am really excited for all of it. B graduation kicks off the month in a great way.
So, instead of taking a flashback to B's undergrad graduation (which I will save for his grad week flashback friday) I decided to flashback to my graduation.
These are from June 2006. As I recall it was a pretty spectacular day. I was super psyched to be graduating, and have completed college. My family was there, and I had a strong sense of their love and pride, and it felt good. It feels like ages ago, yet just yesterday. Funny how life feels like that so often. I can't believe this is nearly 5 years ago! I feel like I look a lot different. B sure looks different, look at how young (coughskinnycough) he looks! Clearly this was before he switched from crew necks to v-necks.
