playing catch up

Things have been crazy in BE world.  The past month has been unreal as we've experienced many highs and lows, including the loss of Pop Pop, my wedding season jumping into high gear, and playing host to five extra roommates while B shot his thesis film.  It's not quite over either...I'm jetting off to Florida to shoot a wedding, then back to CA for B's graduation from AFI, then we're both off to MD for the wedding of a dear dear friend. 

The past couple nights we enjoyed a couple quiet dinners at home alone, just taking a deep breath and catching up.  I'm really proud of everything we've done, survived, and accomplished both alone and together in the last month, and the last couple years.  We've started to look ahead and think about life post AFI.  I think we now think of life as pre-afi, and post-afi.  I'm really looking forward to the year to come.

I'm incredibly proud of my husband, and his hard work.  He never stops amazing me.
