B thesis

Production on B's thesis film has really begun to pick up this month.  They shoot principal photography the first week in May, and I know it will be here before we know it.  I can already see the next several months flying by super fast.

Please check out the the film's website, and if you feel so inclined donate to help them reach their production budget goals!  We'll be forever thankful if you do!

Here's the film synopsis from the website:

"The narcocorrido, a drug ballad in the Mexican folk-music tradition, mythicizes seedy border tales of the modern west: drug lords, human trafficking, arrests, betrayals, shootouts and murder.

Naija Dillion, a Yuma county Sheriff’s deputy, morally struggles with enforcing a new state law concerning immigration profiling. She’s an outsider and minority in her own community.

With blood and fire and viscera loosed in the territory, Naija finds herself caught up in a narcocorrido made real. Will she control the cultural fear that divides her and the undocumented immigrants of Arizona, or lose the tenuous thread of authority she’s struggling to maintain?"
